Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I have been getting lots of lovely queries and just want to let everyone know all is well in my life. I’m super crazy busy and have not had the time to spend on this blog or even keep up with Richard Armitage news. It’s doubtful I will be posting again but wanted to touch bases with you. This blog has been a lot of fun because of you so I wanted to give a big thanks for all your support and your contributions. This blog will not be deleted because there are lots of collaborative projects and Richard Armitage interviews for new and old fans alike.

Since I don’t want to make this post about me, how are you doing? Hope you’re well! Feel free to share any news you wish. 😀

    Hi Bccmee! We miss you.
Good to hear that you are well and busy. Sad that you are not continuing your wonderful blog, but all good things come to an end and happy we can all still look back to all the gorgeous and funny posts whenever we need a dose of Bccmee magic! It was such great fun to look forward to all your group projects and wonderful graphics and amazing vids.

    Take care 🙂

    • bccmee says:

@Faboamanto: It’s been a great pleasure to collaborate with everyone. I will miss the interactivity but my life has moved on. Thanks for your support and comment!

  4. kathryngaul says:

I feel sad that you won’t be posting but you have a life! Thank you for all your wonderful and creative projects – I’ve enjoyed them immensely.

If I can manage to actually get on the net to book a flight to the US to celebrate Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family and then another booking to visit Wellington for “The Hobbit” premiere on the way home to Australia, I’ll let you know that news, OK? 🙂

I will never forgive that bloody Frenz for talking me into joining Twitter – I’m totally addicted!

  5. Ana Cris says:

    Hi Bcc,
I hope you have success in your future endeavors as you had here!
    Cheers!

  6. I have missed you so much. I hope all that busyness it is good for you. But don’t go too far, Genie. I hope not to lose contact with you. *mwah*

  7. Fabi says:

    Bccmee,
Good to know that all is well with you! I (and everyone) have been missing your cheerfulness and creativity, wonderful vids, graphics, collaborative projects, so much fun here in your blog. I wish you all happiness in life. It’s a pity, ArmitageWorld won’t be the same without you.
    Thank you and take care!

  8. I feel ya. I am also super busy with my latest novel and auditions- and of course family- haven’t been blogging much myself- hope you can find time to drop by all the other blogger’s pages every once in a while- mine included. good to here from you. happy busy-ness!

  9. agzym says:

    Can this not be goodbye?
Can this be a: things are very busy, and I can’t tell you when, but I will be back?
Because I really wouldn’t want it to be your final post here! 😦
Either way I really hope you kick *ss not matter what you do!

  10. servetus says:

Reblogged this on Me + Richard Armitage and commented:
Sort of hoping against hope that this isn’t true, or that she experiences some serious Dwarf Desire that pulls her back in. Bccmee, you are one of a kind, a true artist, a true mensch. Hope this isn’t really goodbye.

    • bccmee says:

@servetus: Thanks millions for all your ongoing support over the life of this blog! It’s been a difficult decision and I have very fond memories of our time together.

  11. Chrissy says:

Hi Bccmee, thanks so much for getting in touch. I love your blog page and will really miss your wonderful graphics, but of course I fully understand that it must be time-consuming, and difficult to run when you have a busy life as well!
You take care of yourself … and enjoy all the RA news that will be heading our way this autumn!!
You’ve earned the chance to sit back and relax!!
    Hugs,
    Chrissy xx

  12. mariana says:

Thank you for your wonderful blog and all your creative projects you’ve shared with us! I wish you all the happiness and I hope you’ll be back sometimes in the Armitage World!

  13. Kitty says:

I’m glad to know you are well. I’ve wondered about your absence. I’ve wondered, too, about how, with the obvious explosion of RA’s career, bloggers can keep up w/ the knews that is surely going to be presented on a different level than we have been accustomed to. All the best to you, you generous genius, and thanks for all the fun you have afforded us in RAworld.

    • bccmee says:

@Kitty: Thanks so much for your kind words! Yes, there is a major explosion in RA’s career and in the fandom for which I’m very happy. I’ve always been of the “more the merrier” school of thought!

  14. kaprekar says:

Hi Bccmee I didn’t post on your blog often but I did follow many of your projects which seemed to be super intense. Good to hear you are still alive! I hope you have some joy in your life! Good luck, in whatever you are doing.

    • bccmee says:

@kaprekar: It was such a blast to get to work with you and everyone on these projects. I will definitely miss the collaborations! I wish you all the best too.

  15. A Scattering says:

I will miss your blog but I’m not surprised that you’re moving on – it seems to me it came up over sweets and beverages at Magnolia. If not for this blog, you and I would never have connected or met (MET, pardon the pun, lol) so I’m am truly thankful that the universe of RA fans made this possible. You are so talented and giving, I just know you will be delighting others with you skills and personality and spreading joy where ever you go. Blessings and a big hug to you, my friend. Elaine

    • bccmee says:

@A Scattering: Yes, it was difficult to hide the fact that I was thinking of phasing out of the blog community. What a joy to have met you! We will not be strangers. Thanks for all your support and best of luck in your endeavors!

  16. Dearest Bccmee,
I’m glad to have a note from you, but I am literally sitting here teary eyed that you won’t be blogging in the future. Okay, the tears are falling.

Apart from all the fun we’ve had, I consider you a true mentor and friend. You pestered me to start a blog–an outlet for my wordiness, Ha!–and I absolutely adore it. And you’ve been an encouraging and supportive voice when I’ve tried some vidding and graphics, and such. You are such a positive force for good to me and everyone. I hope our collective admiration and friendship for you sends Misty Mountains full of good karma your way.

I love you to bits, girl. And I had so wanted to try to go to the New York premiere of “The Hobbit”. Yes to experience that event as a bystander with no hope of being able to even see RA from my short and long distance vantage point. But also to maybe get a chance to meet you and some my other RA Fangirl friends. Because as much as I adore RA–and it’s a lot–I cherish the friendships I have made because he is a common ground for us. I cherish you.

I know it is selfish of me, but I hope that you return to blogging and such when you feel rested and less busy–whatever the topic you choose to focus on. Or as John Thornton might say:
Come back, come back to us!

But I support you always. And I wish you every happiness that you wish for yourself, dear friend. Call or email me whenever you want to.

    Love and hugs! Grati ;-<

P.S. I know that the above is sentimental mush. But that's just me–and wordy to boot (303 words). By the way. Still crying.

    • bccmee says:

@Grati: It’s lovely to know you are continuing your blog and all your creative efforts. The fandom is a better place with your presence. My sincerest wishes for success in all your personal and professional activities!

      • You are very kind to that that about me, Bccmee.
But “you” have been the catalyst for me and many others. Your presence will be missed greatly.
But I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I know that you will be great at whatever you do.
        Love and hugs, Grati ;->

      • By the way Bccmee,
We’re having a Bccmee love fest over in RAFN today. We’re calling it “Tuesday Tributes to Bccmee”–sharing our favorite links from among you vids and graphics, challenges, etc., basically all of them. Ha!
I hope that you can feel the love and good wishes coming your way.
Cheers, love, and hugs! Grati ;->

  17. Tereza says:

Bcc, I´m very glad to know you’re okay. I have missed you and of course of all those magnificent RA projects .We spend lovely and amused moments here.I know sometimes life doesn´t let us many choices to to do those things what we like to , but I do hope this not be a goodbye. We’ll be waiting for your return, even that this takes a while .
    Hugs !

  18. Carolyn says:

Oh, Bcc Mee! I had a feeling this was happening since you hadn’t posted in a while. I do understand and I wish you the best, but I am sad. You are so creative. I have enjoyed everything you have created. Instead of goodbye, why not say “I will see you later when I have time to post”. I’m selfish, I know. Take care, my friend! Best wishes in all that you do!

  19. ravenrosebeetle says:

Will you stick around fb and twitter? I don’t want to lose touch with you completely. You’ve helped feed my RA addiction (thanks for that). Hugs, love, blessings and best wishes for a life full of love, joy, peace and prosperity.

    • bccmee says:

@ravenrosebeetle: Have to admit, my participation in the RA community is going to be very limited. It’s very difficult to say but it’s true. I truly wish you the best of health and happiness. Thanks so much for all your friendship.

  20. titianminx says:

Oh no this can’t be good-bye. I’ve missed your sense of humour and your wonderful graphics. I hope you are fit and well and it work/family commitments that are stopping your creative talents. I hope you will find time in the future to continue with the vids and graphics. Wishing you lots of love all the very best in your life. Thanks again for sharing your RA ideas xx

    • bccmee says:

@titianminx: I’m certainly going to miss the good times we’ve had. This blog has brought me great joy. Huge thanks and best wishes to you in your present and future!

  21. Ania says:

    Dear Bccmee,
I am glad that all is well with you. There are so many things for which I’m grateful to you, since I found your blog. First of all, thank you for sharing your creativity, your optimism, and an incredible sense of humor (thanks to you, I could finally put my cure for the sadness, I mean “North and South” on the shelf). And thank you very much for your support. Thanks to you, I believed that “something” is worth to doing if it makes a joy even if I’m not perfect in my workings.
I wish you good luck in all your new projects in life. Hugs.

    • bccmee says:

@Ania: The word “joy” is a perfect description for how I’ve felt about the RA community and all our fun and games! I truly wish you every happiness on your future. I’m delighted your blog is doing so well!

  22. Hi bccmee,

I will miss your blog but totally understand that feeling of having to move on. I wish you all the best in your current and future plans and can only wish you good things.

It has been a pleasure reading your blog and I can only hope, selfishly, that you will not be a complete stranger to this community. You have given so much of your talent and wonderful good self to others via this blog and elsewhere. I, for one, am thankful to have met you.

Good luck for your future plans. Try and keep in touch just a little.

Finally, thank you for sharing what’s in your heart. ♥

    Maggie xx 🙂

  23. Laure says:

Glad to hear from you across the Atlantic, I am pleased to know that you’re okay. For me all goes well,
Have a nice day , see you soon
    bisous ♥

  24. Teuchter says:

    Dear Bccmee,
It was such a relief to read this today and know you are okay! At the same timeI have to say I am rather overwhelmed with sadness to realize that your blog has come to an end. Having said that I also have to accept the fact that you have a life to live which precludes you from continuing with it. It has been so much fun getting to know you as I had grown to love your videos long before I began commenting on your blog. At least I can (hopefully) continue to watch these on YT so I will in some way still feel connected to you. I wish you all the best in whatever you are doing now and in the future. It would naturally be wonderful to see you back again (for selfish reasons on my part!) but only you can make that decision. Thank you for all the great projects you shared with us! I for one will miss being part of them as they were always such a blast and I will truly miss you and your blog! Take care! 🙂

    Love and BIG hugs,
    Teuchter XX

    • bccmee says:

@Teuchter: Have to admit, I thought about just “disappearing into the woodwork” but felt compelled to let everyone know all is well in my life. It has been such fun to get to know you and everyone and I’ll miss our camaraderie. I wish you great health and happiness!

  25. Holliday says:

Say it ain’t so, B. I LOVE reading your blog. I’m glad things are going well for you and believe me, I understand how busy things get, but I will miss this blog. It has been an absolute joy and pleasure to see all your wonderful pictures and read everyone’s comments.
As for something to share with the group, back in July I sent Richard a copy of the Hobbit cartoon from the 70’s. Knowing my luck he’s probably already seen it and has twenty copies of it in his living room sent to him by other fans, But I sent it off anyway(despite my hubby and youngest daughter poking fun at me for it). I’ll let you know if I get a response.
Thanks for giving us all a place to share our passion for Richard. Like the others I’m hoping you’ll pop back in from time to time. Best of luck to you!
    Holliday

    • bccmee says:

@Holliday: Woohoo, I hope you get a response to your cartoon! I hope to hear about it through the grapevine. It’s been extremely enjoyable to get to know you through this blog. Best wishes in your future adventures!

  26. Delia LaFanetta says:

Big hug and thank you!!! really

  27. beengizzied says:

It’s difficult to keep Pace with all the things that demand our time. There is Morgan enough that interests us isn’t there? If I’m Firthright for a moment, I find it Gerry time consuming to give all my Pinterests as much attention as I’d like. It can be the Pitts. Butler the internet is such a great Hobbit, especially blogs like yours. What a source of RApture. It’s Sean Bean Fass-inating seeing what Fiennes things you’ve come up with. I wish you Viggo, Viggo good luck with all your endeavours and if you stage a Cumberbatch then I’ll be there to cheer. Smiles and Hiddles to you always.

  28. jazzbaby1 says:

B, you’re breakin’ my heart. I understand though. Take care and please don’t be a stranger.

  29. Brooke says:

    Hey Bccmee!
Thank you for being a great example to me as someone who loves to create and imagine. You put a lot of effort, quality, and also of importance– enjoy what you do in the amount of time you are given when you get spare time. You were not afraid to share your projects and allow us to contribute to make many of them happen.
I will miss your new posts and art, but I realize that your personal life is far more important. I won’t nudge you to change your mind. I respect your decision to move on. My wish for you is that you won’t lose your interest to create graphics.
As for me, I think you already know that I am still slowly working on “The Viscount’s Vow.” I can’t say I am Charles Dickens or Elizabeth Gaskell. LOL. Thank you for encouraging me to do what I love.
I hope I can keep in touch with you as you are busy. You are very enjoyable to talk to. Take care of yourself as you are busy.

  30. Mezz says:

Bcc, I’ve missed seeing your updates in my inbox! I’m sorry to hear that you are finishing up with the blog, but fully appreciate that life can simply take a different turn for us. I lurked for quite some time, only joining in on the collaborations this year, and it has been so much fun. Thank you for all that you have done to entertain us in so many creative ways. You have been an inspiration.
Where you are moving on from the RA world, I have embraced it even more fully! I now have eight videos on YT (still haven’t mastered PS Premiere though *sigh*) and a Tumblr blog devoted to Richard. I am enjoying photo editing, learning Photoshop, and my page gives me a place to “put” the results of my efforts, other than in a folder on my hard drive. I don’t know how long it will last, but as long as I’m having fun with it, and can fit it in with everything else I do, I’ll keep at it!
I wish you all the best in your “super crazy busy” life. 🙂
    *hugs*
    Mezz

    • bccmee says:

@Mezz: Wow, you have been very busy yourself. Congratulations on all your creative RA accomplishments. I’ll have to check them out! Thanks again for all your support.

  31. jasrangoon says:

Bcc, I knew this was coming but it still makes me sad. You were one of the first people to make me feel like a welcome part of the RA community and I’ll be forever grateful. I’ll miss your blog and fabulous collaborative projects, but moving on is a part of life. Best wishes to you. I hope you won’t be a complete stranger. Hugs.

    • Brooke says:

She was for me too, Jas! I am with Jas on not being a complete stranger. You a great person and you have a great sense of humor. We enjoy talking to you when you are available.

    • bccmee says:

@jasrangoon: Yes, it’s sad but true there comes a time when we move on. The projects were a lot of fun indeed. I certainly will be in touch and wish you the best in your blog and other endeavors.

  32. ItsJSforMe says:

Bcc, the others have expressed my opinion ever so much more eloquently than I ever could (I am in awe of BGZ’s outstanding wordplay!!!). Besides, you already know my feelings on the subject. I will miss seeing notices for your blog, but I will not miss you because you cannot get rid of me that easily!! I will track you down if need be!!! *Hugs*

  33. You will be missed, but I wish you the best with your future endeavors. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement on my blog. You are a talented woman, and there is no end to the possibilities before you! 🙂

  34. phylly3 says:

Thanks so much for letting us know you are all right and carrying on with your real life. I will admit to feeling very teary right now, but I’ll try not to be mushy. I loved your optimism and the way you could rally us on to one of your awesome projects. You are the best of the best! I miss you already.

  35. katie70 says:

I only commented one other time before but I have enjoyed your blog and videos for one and a half years. You have talent! I hope that you get to use it in your RL. Your blog was the first one that I decided to follow and I am so glad that I did. I am sad to see you leave but know that ones own personal life must come first. I am also happy to know that you are well. Take care and Best wishes in all your future plans.

    • bccmee says:

@katie70: That’s very sweet of you to say “hello” and “goodbye” to me, LOL! It was such a fun ride and I’m delighted you were a part of it. Best wishes in your life!

  36. vec170203 says:

Hi Bccmee. Thanks for all the good times. I have not been part of your blog a long time but I know you’re a very talented person. I wish you all the happiness in your future. you deserve it.

You will be missed – BTW, I will miss your icon too, I love that bear 😉 –

Abrazos y todo mi amor desde Colombia! (hugs and all my love 🙂 )

  37. Thais says:

I’m glad you’re fine, Bccmee! At the same time I cannot hide that I feel sad about the end of your blog. But this is life, right? We have to make choices all the time! Finding your blog was something really nice! And discovering so many RA’s fans here was fantastic! The good thing is we can come back to this amazing space anytime we want and check out the old posts again… Thanks for your generosity, for everything! I wish you all the best! Good luck with your personal projects. May you always have health, peace, success in your life! But let’s keep in touch somehow, at least to share our impressions about The Hobbit, ok? *Hugs*

  38. tully2shoes says:

All the above comments clearly express just how sorely missed you already are, B. I admit that I’m a bit teary eyed also. I’ve always hated goodbyes, so I’ll just say, see ya later. Even though I only made a few comments here and there, I have followed your blog most faithfully. You are so very creative and so supportive of those of us with considerably less creativity than yours- like me:) Your kind words of encouragement and very gracious compliments for my simple slideshows (still haven’t mastered video clips, but I will never give up!) have always been so very appreciated. I wish you all the happiness and good luck you deserve, wherever life’s journey takes you, B. Do hope you pop into fb now and then. I know all your friends and followers would love to hear from you, and I’d particularly like to get your feedback on The Hobbit and Black Sky. So, take good care of yourself, and see ya later, my friend. 🙂

    • bccmee says:

@tully2shoes: I’m delighted you found a creative voice thanks to Richard Armitage and the community! I feel a lot of gratitude to you and my other fellow fans for their encouragement. Have fun with your upcoming projects! Thanks again for everything.

Hi again. I am going to the US from 11 Nov to 25 Nov and dropping in to Wellington , NZ, from 27 to 29 Nov and then to Auckland, NZ, from 30 Nov to 2Dec before flying home to Australia,

Yours was one of the 1st blogs I discovered after I decided to Google Richard Armitage about 2 years ago and I thank you for your efforts. I’m still missing your creative endeavours madly and wishing there were more still coming but that’s just being selfish.

I hope everything is going well with you and that you have every happiness and success in the future.

    Best wishes,
