I loved this. It’s really funny. Thanks beengizzied and Bcc!!!
This reminded me of John Thornton bringing fruits for Mrs. Hale… he could help me a lot with my weekly market!! 😀

  2. Judit says:

Do I have to go for a chaRActer? Can’t I ask RA himself to redecorate my flat considering he’s a self-confessed DIY geek? I’d make him lots of cups of tea and be v nice to him. 🙂 Also, I’d rather a chaRActer helped me “unmake” the bed if you get my meaning! 😉 Can’t comment on the pics as I can only see red crosses where the pics should be! 😦

  3. Joanna says:

😀 dusting the highest shelves…..schirtless…at least;)
    *giggle* Girls! I love you!:)

“Epiphanes Comes With His Own Toilet Brush” – This one had me laughing so hard, I had tears in my eyes! RA or his characters helping with housework is so lovely to contemplate 🙂

  5. agzym says:

I was going to go for “John Mulligan will help you pack your bags”, but as I love my freedom too much, and a prison jumpsuit wouldn’t suit me, I think I’ll pass 😉

  6. Judit says:

Finally the pics are showing up! Yipeee!! 😀 Thanks beengizzied for the great guest post and picture selection! LOL re Epiphanes with the ToiletBrush! Too funny!!!

  7. servetus says:

    Cute!

    • Brooke says:

Servetus, wouldn’t it be nice if Thorin would sing you a song or tell you a story to help us fall asleep?

  8. Chop the rutabega for my Cornish Pastys.

  9. cdoart says:

    Oh, how wonderful, beengizzied!
Lucas can help me, by tasting my homemade chocolate donuts, or rather I normally make them with Plum or Apricot jam. Hmmm, what a joy to see him eat them ;o)

  10. titianminx says:

Thank you b and beengizzied. Fantastic, so funny. It would be great to have any help with the chores. Think the most help I need is with the cooking-I’m SO RUBBISH!!

  11. Ania says:

Very funny! Thank you both Bccmee and Beengizzied!
I think that Harry could help me in cooking the supper. sigh

  12. Carolyn says:

    LOL Thanks, Beengizzied and Bcc!

  13. jeanniegisborne says:

Thanks for sharing this. Very funny beengizzied! 🙂

  14. Brooke says:

Well done and a great idea for a post. I don’t know how you two thought of this funny idea. I think Ricky could help to air out the washed clothes. Being wet from the laundry would be a worth it since you can be on a bike with him.

  15. Tubbs says:

Genius! Wonder if he’s any good at gardening!

  16. beengizzied says:

You are most welcome bccmee. I’m very happy thinking about Richard’s characters while doing housework which (shockingly) I find otherwise uninspiring. A happy group watch has also got me through the ironing or dinner prep on occasion.
Thank you all for saying such kind things. If I amuse you in any small way I am very satisfied.
“Stay classy” Richard fans! (Just woke up and watched the latest vblog so I’m off to work with a little spring in my step although it’s winter here, lol.)

    • bccmee says:

@beengizzied: I loved how playful and goofy RA was in the video blog. It was a lot of fun to see that side of him. ♥

    • ItsJSforMe says:

Group watches can be fun. As for the ironing…..ewwww!!!! *shudders* I stay as far away from that task as possible!

Great post, bgz, as always. 🙂 Thanks for hosting, bccmee!!

  17. Holliday says:

I got the biggest kick out of this, beengizzied. Maybe have Lee from Cold Feet cleaning the pool in his speedo.

  18. Teuchter says:

LOL!! You girls just crack me up with all your comments!! 😀 I commented elsewhere that meeting RA in my local grocery store is a fantasy of mine – I know, pretty boring eh? – but grocery shopping is such a chore when you are shopping for one and just imagine how you would feel just walking into him!! *swoon* Of course if he helped me to actually DO the shopping then came home and cooked for me that’s a whole different ball game!!!! 😉

  19. jazzbaby1 says:

You two are a riot…and I’ll never be able to clean the toilet without giggling again, thankyouverymuch!

  20. Leigh says:

Lovely fun! But I want Ricky to help me with a cord of firewood for the winter, preferably shirtless. (I’ll apply the sunscreen, of course.) It’s plenty hot here right now. If he’ll chop and split, I’ll stack. And then he can come in for a pint or two…

  21. bccmee says:

@Everyone: Thanks for your comments and support of our guest blogger! Such fun ideas everyone has for their helpful household hints. I would have Harry Kennedy help me with my paperwork and taxes, which are my least favorite chores. Beengizzied’s ideas really had me laughing out loud! 😀 😀 😀

    • Brooke says:

Guy or Thorin can be the person to give you a horse back ride to work and get your groceries. It will definitely beat the subway or whatever it is that you use. You might smell like dwarf and a horse for a while. Hehe.

  22. Beverly says:

    hahaha. Thank you.
