I could not believe the beauty that is Richard Armitage as a Middle Earth dwarf! ♥ It looks like it could be all Richard Armitage’s own beard. I just want to stare at this new promo picture all the livelong day!

Heart of the Mountain – Arkenstone
This graphic went through several incarnations. I created a very complicated version but it didn’t have the right flow so I started over and kept simplifying. It’s impossible to improve upon the beauty of the subject but I had to fill in some space to make it wallpaper sized, LOL! My false starts took awhile but when I found one particular mountain image, everything moved quickly to the final draft.

I’m totally giving away my age, but in high school my sister and I were glued to the TV when Miami Vice came on. But I must say, Crockett and Tubbs have NOTHING on this gorgeous dwarf. I take back everything I have ever said about Sir PJ and the Hobbit! I would have NEVER thought that he’d be able to pull off dwarf sex appeal. But then , that’s why he is who he is, and his success is by no means a fluke!

I went through this for LOTR (Boromir don’t you know!) but used my pennies for the DVDs only. But with Thorin I may have to buy a little Thorin, Orcrist earrings or a pendant, maybe a Thorin T-Shirt with that face! Or maybe a poster with the family: Thorin, Kili and Fili! OK – I’m opening a Hobbit savings account right now.

I’ve never bought any film-related merchandise before, but this is RICHARD we’re talking about so I might just make an exception… I’ll first check what’s available with Thorin and then I’ll choose something. Richard always changes the rules for me. He made tattoos sexy for me with Lucas, and now he’s turned a 200-plus-year-old dwarf into a magnificently beautiful sex symbol 😉 Lovely wallpaper. And I suspect I will be buying movie tie-in merchandise if I can scrape up the cash. 😉

I love the wallpaper. I just got to the part in the book about the Arkenstone. Who could blame you for wanting to stare at this picture for hours? My goodness the man is just sin to look at(insert loud wolf whistle here). I found the picture the other day and had to post it on my Facebook page. If there’s any merchandise out there with this picture on it, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I might just make my own t-shirt with it.

I was wondering how long it would take for you to make some wallpaper with this picture. This is definitely the “beauty shot” of the EW spread and only the tablet people were supposed to see it. Luckily we have friends with tablets. And you have created some wallpaper that is a “beauty shot” too.

This truly is a most gorgeous wallpaper and is now one of my favourites. I honestly wouldn’t have thought it possible that Richard could look even more stunningly beautiful – and hot – than he already is, but that picture quite literally took my breath away when I first saw it. I just gasped then sat and stared at it for ages. And those eyes! Like others I think I fell for him all over again! I sent it to a friend who up till then hadn’t been a fan but I do believe she’s come around and can now understand what I’ve been talking about all this time! 😉 If anyone had told me I would be swooning over a dwarf I would have thought they were crazy, but I think most of us have done just that. If they hadn’t before, this picture would certainly have done it! 😀

My sympathies, Bcc!! I’m well on the way to acquiring every DVD, audiobook etc., that Mr A has been involved in. There’s no way I’m going to tally up what this has already cost me as I don’t want it to hinder me from buying what I don’t yet own! I have even got duplicates of N&S and Robin Hood and who knows what else I might yet do, particularly once The Hobbit and its accompanying merchandise becomes available!! 🙂 Oh Richard!
