Greetings! Here we are on the 14th day of our silly challenge in which we pit two Richard Armitage characters against each other in competitions.
Today’s contributions come to us from Emma who provided pictures of John Porter and John Thornton holding flowers. Thank you very much, Emma!
Here are your base images courtesy of RichardArmitageNet.Com:
Here is your graphic which you can click for full size:
Since 1855, Johns’ Flowers, 555-1855, “For beautiful sights and smells, call John” / John Porter vs. John Thornton
For this graphic, I wanted to explore the two characters earning money with a flower shop and this is the result. I wonder if the flowers come with smelling salts since the recipients might pass out when they see that gorgeous hunk of man coming at them with a bouquet. I know I would keel over in a drooling thudding puddle.
Now it’s time for your poll: Who is the better flower boy? Thanks for voting! 😀
What are some other slogans you can think of for Johns’ Flowers?
I would be ordering flowers everyday (maybe more than once)!!! Loved this!! Thank you Bcc and Emma for the wonderful choice and graphic!!!
Woooow, John as flower delivery. I would also like flowers everyday lol.
Thanks Bccmee and Emma for the great graphic and pic choice. 🙂
LOL…”since 1855″…you are so clever B!!!
I think both Johns would be out of job rapidly, as all the senders would be complaining because the ladies couldn’t care less about the flowers and would only have eyes to the delivery boy … I can perfectly imagine myself completely mesmerised, drooling, the flowers slipping through my fingers, while he would patiently wait for me to get out of my ecstasy and finally sign the delivery note … *sigh*
I voted for the one and only: Thornton 🙂
My suggestions of slogans for Johns’ Flowers: “A flower a day keeps the sadness away” or “Heady till the last petal” 😉
Thank you Bcc and Emma for the lovely graphic and choice of pics 🙂
This was a tough one, but I had to go with John of hearts – John Thornton.
I don’t know Bccmee and Emma, this graphic could be dangerous. Imagine women swooning all over the world when the delivery truck pull up to their door, and then swooning again when John P delivers them personally.
A slogan: Smoldering flowers as only John’s Flowers can deliver.
Great idea Emma! I just love this one – it’s almost as good as getting my own bouquet! 🙂
As much as I love seeing JP with his jaunty bouquet, I had to go with JT for the sheer romance of a single bloom that he had to “look hard” for!
John’s Flowers — Nobody does beautiful better!
Talk about Flower Power!!! Wow – I would need Dr. Track to fly in on his helicopter to resuscitate me if JP or JT (or even JS or JM) showed up on my doorstep with flowers!
Lovely graphic & pics!
Very fun and clever, b! Thank you for making two great pictures look even better together.
@Emma: You’re very sweet to say. Thanks again for your lovely contributions! 😀
I just love J. Porter! I adore how he can combine his gentler side with his alpha side.
A lema could be: “Johns’ Flowers, Helping the world’s blossoming since 1885”
Emma, your choice of Johns is perfect! I would accept flowers from each. Hopefully before I fainted straight away! Such creativity B 🙂
ooh I like Jonhs’ Flowers!!
Oh NO! The choice between my two favorite Johns! I had to go for Thornton, as first loves die hard!
Slogan: “Johns Flowers- will go the extra mile for you… to Helston or Afganistan”
Gorgeous and the flowers look good too!! Great pics b. You are very clever. I’d have a bout of the “vapours” if JP or JT delivered flowers to me. Love both Johns, so couldn’t decide who to vote for 😉
Since both these guys are equally gorgeous it was impossible for me to pick one to vote for so I decided to vote for the whoever was behind in the votes at the moment- and it was Mr. Porter! 🙂
Thank you for the lovely choices, Emma and the beautiful siggie, Bccmee!
You’ve put the peTal to the metal this time.
hmmmmm…………this was a difficult choice but John Thornton won!
I think this has to be one of my favourites, ladies!! One of the things I love to get as a gift is flowers and I’m not averse to buying some for myself when I have a “craving” for them. When asked as a child what I wanted to be I would reply, “A nurse, or a flower-shop lady!” Well I achieved the first ambition but still find a thrill when entering a florists. There is just something about the combination of floral scents. Finding even one of these two John’s in my doorway with flowers would more than likely more than my heart could handle! Just look at that Porter smile!! I might just faint on the spot!! 😀
It was actually impossible to choose as John Thornton was my first RA love but Porter and Lucas are pretty well neck and neck with him nowadays so I went with the one with the least votes at the moment! As for a slogan I’m afraid I can’t think of anything intelligent at the moment but will be back if I do!! 😉
Should read “. . . . be more than my heart could handle”
Hi Bccmee and Emma,
Ah! A man with flowers–very romantic! But with Thornton’s face gracing the side of the van, I think too many accidents would occur–chasing after the van. Ha! And with Porter as the delivery man, I think I would be sending myself flowers every day. Ha! But, it is a lovely choice.
Cheers! Grati ;->
Okay, here goes! “We use flowers to say, I love you”. Does this work???
I got a big kick out of this one. I voted for Porter. He just looks so adorable with the bouquet. Can’t think of a decent slogan for the flower shop though. Everything I’ve come up with is lamer than lame.
Hard choice but I went with Thornton. I love the graphic. Wish I had him on the side of my vehicle..
@Everyone: John Porter looks lovely with leather and flowers. What a combination! As you can guess, JP has my vote in the contest, LOL!
Thank so much for your sweet-smelling comments and gReAt slogans! 😀
Oh Bccmee, a car with a picture of JT is phenomenal. Although I love Mr.Thornton voted for Porter. Thank you, Emma and Bccmee!
