Hello again. Here we are in the third day of our challenge in which we pit two different Richard Armitage characters against each other in competitions.
Today’s contributions come to us today from Carla who has a blog which I’ve just discovered. I’ll need to give it some attention as the subject matter looks very interesting to me: Letters through time ~ Notes between Austen Ladies.
Our contest today is wrestling between Lucas North and Sir Guy of Gisborne. Thank you very much, Carla!

2102 London / Lucas vs. Guy / Nottingham 1192
As you can see, I went with the Olympics theme. 😀 There were several logos for the 2012 London Olympics but none for the Nottingham 1192 games, so I was going to try to think of my own. Luckily I found the concentric circles and thought they’d be perfect since they looked like a target.
Now it’s time for our poll. Here’s the link if needed: Who will win in the Olympic wrestling ring?

I vote for Guy… but I needed to think harder, because Lucas is a better fighter than Guy.
Guy may be the sexiest man in all Nottinghamshire, but I need to take sword lessons and how to fight because he always loose against Robin or the Nightwatchman, lol.

I vote Lucas. Guy may seem stronger and more brutal, but Mr. North has wits and is trained in martial arts. He just gets the job done! If that was what the Olympic Games were like, I’d be glued to my TV 😉
For one time I don’t vote for Guy (shame on me) but as April have said it Lucas is a better and sexier fighter than Guy so…

A wonderful comparison today! Guy is so visceral in his fighting–to the death, his own or yours–because it is so personal to him. Lucas is also a ruthless fighter, but it is for other peoples’ causes and country.
This is getting more difficult to decide…….perhaps Lucas……..mmmmwah no maybe Guy ……

But this time I voted for Guy because I voted for Thorthon before, but my heart got tight because I didn´t choose Lucas.But sincerely I think Guy wins because he tends to play dirty and Lucas is more honest and disciplined and follows the game rules.

@Everyone: Thanks again for your humorous comments! Some possible Olympic events you thought of include fighting in a chocolate pond, a pentathlon, diving wearing a Speedo, and any event in *ahem* “ancient Olympics attire.” 😉 Hmm, I do like the sound of all those!
The poll results are very close, but Lucas has a slight edge over Guy.
There are lots of possibilities for RA chaRActers in the Olympics: Heinz Kruger in canoeing with a remote-controlled submarine, Thorin in a barrel-shaped kayak, Ricky Deeming in cycling — but he’d cheat and have a motor on his bike! 😉
I love your wonderful pictures of RA!!! I loved him as Guy and Mr.Thornton the best and I do hope he shaves his beard and grows his hair a bit longer again after the hobbit though- I much prefered him with the sexy stubble and cute curls at the back of his neck! 😀 mmmmm….
