How was your weekend?
Welcome to day 7 of our graphics project. Our screencap of Richard Armitage as Sir Guy of Gisborne today comes to us from Carla. Thank you, Carla!

Heart as black as night
The name of the tune recommended by Carla is “Your Heart is as Black as Night” so it clearly had an influence on me!
To start off, I cut out Guy from the background in the original image and used the Clone tool to remove the hand in the foreground. I then found another screencap from RichardArmitageNet.Com:
I overlapped the images and used the Clone tool to remove the horse from the added screencap. Next, I brightened the images using various filters from Xero Freeware Plugins. The hearts were created with the Custom Shape tool, then an Inner Shadow and Inner Glow were applied.
The text “Heart as black as night” was typed and then selected so I could erase the words on the large heart to allow the background to show through. I used the Qarats and Moderna fonts.
I freely admit that season 1 Guy is my favorite! ♥ I keep forgetting why. 😉

The two expressions Guy has look great side by side. Very good, b. Good choice, Carla. The only thing I didn’t like about s1 Guy was that horrible coloured scarf! 🙂

This song influenced me too – even if has already been used for a fanvid of John Mulligan, another black heart! – because it evokes the dangerous, tormented henchman so well!
You can also play with the title: “Your heart is as black as ….knight”

What a way to start the week! This is brilliant and has to be one of my favourites! Not just one but two pics of our smouldering Guy on this one. The choice of song is perfect even though we know Guy’s heart wasn’t really that black! 😉

S2 is my favourite Guy – it’s the gold scarf thingy I don’t like for S1 Guy. But this graphic is so wonderful I don’t even notice it….too distracted by the double dose of Guy’s eyes – ahhhh

@Everyone: Thanks again for your delightful comments! This was a really perfect song choice for our Guy. Yes, the scarf is a bit controversial but I like it a lot. 😛 I know I’m in the small minority in liking season 1 Guy best, but there you have it, LOL! I also like his sniff and smolder.
As for cloning out the hand in the foreground, I have had a lot of practice with this tool. Also, I don’t have time to be meticulous thanks to being very busy this month and having deadlines! 😉
