On the 2nd day of Guyness…

♥  Welcome to the second day of Guyness!

We’re on day 2 of our 12 day celebration of Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne.

Today’s screencaps are contributed by antoniaromera.  Here are her suggestions:

Antoniaromera wanted you all to have a big hug from Guy of Gisborne, LOL!

Here is your animated gif:

“I’ve been waiting for you.”

Thank you very much for your participation, antoniaromera!

Since we all know that Guy was our favorite character in Robin Hood, I thought of creating an animated movie poster with that thought in mind.  This Flash animation is not interactive though, so we’ll have to sit back and just watch, LOL!

Here is a link to the animated movie poster on my external site.  Please click the image or the text link below.

I really enjoyed the entire cast of Robin Hood:  Richard Armitage, Lucy Griffiths, Jonas Armstrong and Keith Allen. Pudsey was a great guest star too, LOL!

By the way, if  you’ve not seen the Children in Need special with Richard Armitage, Lucy Griffiths and Pudsey Bear, you can watch it here:  http://www.richardarmitagenet.com/downloads/63-rh2pub.html.  Scroll down to #6.  There are lots of other Guy of Gisborne treats on that page!  🙂

Two days down, ten to go!  See you tomorrow.  🙂

  2. Luciana says:

OMG… the animated gif is just….. PERFECT!!! Thanks…

  3. chabesquen says:

Lovely gif as always!!! The movie poster is great too. I think “Guy of Gisbourne: the Movie” would be a huge success. I’d certainly see it…repeatedly. 😉

    • bccmee says:

@chabesquen: I noticed that antoniaromera requested the same scene you used in a recent animated gif too! Great minds think alike! 😀 *sigh* I would totally go see the Guy of Gisborne movie too. Please save me a seat, LOL!

  4. jules says:

My favourite Sir Guy bits ever were the Children in Need clips…the way he stands there trying to look so mean holding poor Pudsey bear…sorry Sir Guy you just ended up looking more gorgeous than ever…I just melted on the spot…I’ve been in meltdown ever since
Now I have just got to try find a way of hanging this brilliant poster in my bedroom???
Thankyou so much ‘B’ and antoniaromera xxxx

    • bccmee says:

@jules: I totally adore the Children in Need sketch too. ♥ How Richard Armitage kept a straight face, I’ll never know! It would be hilarious if there was a Pudsey Bear loose in Sherwood Forest in our imaginary Guy movie, LOL! Thanks for your lovely comment!

  5. Antonia, how did you dare choose one of my preferred scene in RH3 E1? You are a genius!
Every single move he makes is a masterpiece of style and ….I love the way he shakes his hair from his eyes. Stop the analysis!
Thank you for the hug, you ladies! We are all in great need of it.

Guy of Gisborne the movie??? I’m already in queue at theatre.
I can’t imagine how the plot could develope with a teddy bear involved. LOL!

    • bccmee says:

@Carla: Richard Armitage definitely knows how to move his body. 🙂 He’s so graceful when he does that turn.

Please save me a place in the queue for the Guy of Gisborne movie. Hopefully chabesquen will save us some seats in the front row, LOL! Maybe we can buy little Pudsey Bears at the theater. 😉

  6. Lady Rose says:

    Aaahahaha!
Hey Bccmee! How come every time I take a blog-world break, you come up with something fantastic? ;D

  7. Carolyn says:

Another lovely gif and I wish I could run straight to his arms! HaHa, the Guy of Gisborne movie..now that is one movie that I would see over and over again!

  8. Hi Bccmee,
A gif and a movie, too? Be still my beating heart! Ha! I would just go gaga over a GoG movie starring the smouldering Richard Armitage wearing his leathers and smirks. Sighhhh!
Thanks for brightening our holidays with gReAt entertainment. Cheers! Grati ;>

    • bccmee says:

@Gratiana: Perhaps movie theaters can be fitted with little monitors in the seats. Then we can watch animated gifs while waiting for the movie to start, LOL! Thanks so much for your continued support in the Richard Armitage community! *HUGS*

      • Hi Bccmee,

Ooh! Seat monitors sound lovely–especially for my near sighted eyes. Although, it just occurred to me that with The Hobbit in 3D, maybe our Richard as Thorin experience could be even more up close and personal. These new theatres try to give its patrons a full immersion experience–as if you’re there. Oh my! On second thought, I would just have a giggly meltdown of epic proportions if I were even “virtually” within inches of a life size 3D or holographic image of Mr. Armitage. You’ll notice that I reverted to referring to him formally, to rein in my musings a little. Ha!

Thank you also for your kind words. You’re a great friend and wonderful mentor.

        *HUGS* back! Cheers! Grati ;->

  9. Ania says:

Lovely gif, that my heart beats faster. Oh definitely a hug is needed. And of course I very much wanted to see this movie. Wonderful selection of screencaps, I love this scene in which Guy says to Marian “stay and make this place bearable” and says it so much tenderly *sigh *
    P.S.
Bccmee, do I see well that it snows in your blog? You don’t even know how much I like when it snows (of course when I sit in a warm house) 😉

  10. What a coincidence! I’ve been waiting for YOU too! LOL!!!!
Guy was our favorite character in RobinHood?? Seriously??? So …. we didn’t watch for the plot? O_O (so thankful for the ffw button).Anyway, I would gladly give him my teddy bear to hang if he would ask me … nicely =)
Oh, and Gizzie the movie? Count me in 🙂
Excellent work Bcc and lovely selection of screencaps Antonia! *hugs*

  11. alfie says:

Lovely gif – fantastic scene. Used the same screencap for my new header on my blog 🙂

You keep on making thing that I really want to buy 😉 First there was the magazine (JP not Guy – but I want it anyway;-)), Then the cube and now a movie. It could REALLY be the most fantastic group watch.
Looove your stuff 😉 – Have a nice weekend.

    • bccmee says:

@alfie: Clearly that screencap of Guy has universal appeal! 😀 It’s no wonder why. Thanks for your kind words and I wish you a great weekend too!

  12. Joanna says:

    I love this gif!
    Magazine,cube,movie-I want it all Bccmee:)
Yes,it could be fantastic GROUP WATCH*sigh*;)
    U.S,Brazil,Portugal,Spain,G.B,France,Swtzerland,Italy,Germany,Poland,Hungary,Russia,Japan,
Australia and “Hunging Gardens of Babylon”:D

    • bccmee says:

@Joanna: The whole wide world is well-represented in the Richard Armitage community! That’s one of the reasons I enjoy being a fan so much. I live in New York City, which is the most international city in the world so I feel at home with everyone of different languages and cultures. 🙂

Thanks so much for your lovely comment! *HUGS*

  13. mersguy says:

Thud….2nd day of Guy S3 Ep1…Sir Hotness again!
Sir Guy arms outstretched, willing us into them, oh if only!!
Great gif and choice B and Antoniaromera
    Have a wonderful w/end everyone

  14. The Queen says:

As per usual…you’re da bomb!!!! =0)

  15. NovemberBride says:

What the heck…The Queen=NovemberBride. I have NO idea why this ID popped up.

  16. judiang says:

SQUEEE!!! I’m will be doing this for 12 days straight… 😉

BTW, seeing Pudsey in a Guy movie kind of creeps me out. LOL!

    • bccmee says:

@judiang: If I wrote the movie, Pudsey Bear would be equivalent to Bigfoot. Mulder and Scully from The X-Files get involved in the case. And Blackadder too!

Are you still creeped out? 😉

  17. I thought I’d never get here. Whew I made it! Better late than never. What a fab gif and the Guy of Gisborne movie was sheer genius! Love it B 🙂

  18. Teuchter says:

I’m even later but just wanted to say what a wonderful gif! Those wide open arms look so welcoming together with that little toss of the hair!!! 😀 He does have quite the “wingspan” there doesn’t he? I’m SO ready for that virtual hug! 😉 The movie poster is precious!! I’d join the queue too to see that! One of the things that give me a thrill these days is to see him referred to as a “star” in newspaper articles etc. We have always known that but finally, the world is wakening up to see what an incredibly talented and nuanced actor he really is and we are overjoyed – and, may I say, so proud of him as if he were kin!! I am almost afraid to imagine what it will be like to watch him in The Hobbit. I hope I will be able to rein in my reactions! I’d hate to disgrace myself in company!! 🙂

    • bccmee says:

      @Teuchter: LOL re: wingspan, hehe!

True that Richard Armitage is finding stardom at long last. I’m so happy for the guy. He has worked crazy hard to get where he is today. 🙂 It’s great fun to watch his adventures in acting! 😀

  19. grendel's mum says:

A great gif! RA has beautiful long arms, doesn’t he!
I want to watch the Guy of Gisborne movie, please!!

By the way, I love the snowflakes!

  20. Lady Prisca says:

Very good choice antoniaromera. The hand on the heart is so sexy. Good work Bccmee.

  21. Phylly3 says:

That is a movie I would love to see! Thanks for the hug too!
