Guy of Gisborne Search Engine

Here’s a video I would’ve made 908 years ago if I was a contemporary of Guy of Gisborne. If he was around today, I imagine he would be running the world, much like Google and YouTube. 😉

This vid was inspired by YouTube’s Search Stories at http://www.youtube.com/searchstories. I recommend you try it out–no experience necessary! However, I imagined what it would be like if instead of Google there was a Guy of Gisborne search engine called GoGle, so I created this from scratch. Here it is, after 3 days and 48 layers of madness. Hope you enjoy!

As an aside, this is the first video I’ve made using only Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe After Effects.

And very importantly, this fanvid is dedicated to Summer aka RAfandreamer. She won the contest to spot the most special effects in my Christmas fanvid. For her prize, she was able to choose a Richard Armitage character for a future fanvid and she selected Guy of Gisborne. Don’t be surprised if I make a full-length Guy video in the near future! 🙂

The downloadable video is in MP4 format and I recommend using VLC player if you’re not doing so already. It plays almost any video or audio file known to mankind and it’s available for both PC and Mac. And it’s free.
